Dilemma

Have you ever noticed that every make up artist has their own signature look?  

Whether it's the full face full coverage over the top eyes like the ever so darling Nikkie tutorials; or

The simplicity your skin but better minimalist make up like Priscilla Ono (this is Rihanna's make up artist in case you don't know) 

Everyone has their own signature look! and I.....

Have yet to find mine.

2017, with love.

2017 will hold a special place in my heart. 

It's the year where, I found my passion. 

It's the year where I started to realise that it does not matter what others have to say about you. 

It's the year where I followed my dreams and ambitions. 

It's the year where I grew fonder and started to love myself more. 

It's the year where I am with you. 

Officially started off my make up business in December, here are my brides; 

1) Emilia Shireen (Nikah)

2) Nana Idris (Engagement)

3) Nazleen ( Nikah)

4) Nazleen (Sanding, touch up nikah same day)

5) Haikal (Nikah)

6) Haikal (Sanding)

 Apart from Bridal Make up, there was also a few event make up;

1) Osheen (Dinner Event- Glam Rock)

2) Hani (Dinner Event- Glam Rock)

3) Najwa (Aqiqah Event- Requested for super light make up)

4) Menda (Dinner Event )

5) Amalina (Dinner Event- Secret Garden)

I also did my first photoshoot make up for merh.my online shop; 

I did everyone's make up during the photoshoot.

 Total in all, I did a total of 34 make up hands-on different faces. Which is an achievement for me. Saw how my skills improved also over the year. I could not thanked enough for the people who put their trust on me. Thank you loves 💓. I look forward to paint more faces in 2018.

Fiqa Hafizi X Huda Mohd Demo & Practical Class

Date: 4th December 2017 (Monday)
Venue: Lowkey Studio, Shah Alam

I been to two demo class, but I felt that it's not enough. I need practical. I need to practise with the supervision of an expert beside me. I need to gain more knowledge. I.need.more.

So, I asked around, from high top professional makeup artist, to the regular "I been in the industry long enough to teach people" makeup artist. I concluded that, I wanted to go to Ferra Rossa, Azni Hadi, Norianafacedesigner  and Fiqa Hafizi personal classes. But with all due respect, money wise, I could only choose either one for this year. Dilemma, dilemma. Hm.

While I was scrolling instagram's explorer. 💡💡💡  Fiqa and Huda will be doing a Demo and Pratical make up class! Ring a ding ding! and and the price is wayy cheaper than one personal makeup class.

So who is Fiqa Hafizi? She was my makeup artist during my bertandang. She did this look on me; 👇

and now who is Huda Mohd? She's one of the top professional makeup artist too! I loveee her art work! Very beautiful. Very neat and clean.

My artwork that day was definitely not my best artwork. I was pressured by my other mua friends there and the time given. Everyone was super talented and been in the industry for quite some time! However, all in all, the knowledge I got that day was worthwhile. Thanks to my teachers, Kak Fiqa and Kak Huda 💜
